Have you ever done something that you just felt was right? No explanation why, just that you knew you were supposed to do it. That's how Lucy feels. And so does Colin.
Meeting Lucy was definitely memorable. You could feel her emptiness, loneliness, and confusion. Christina Lauren is a magician with words. How she carries the emotions through the pages and right into you. It gives you this feeling a memory that you can almost remember. Just like Lucy.
There is a lot of sadness for Colin and Lucy seems like that ray of light at the end of the tunnel; his spark of life returning after the tragic accident. But he loses himself in her and as he does, Lucy realizes too late her purpose.
This story seems like such a forbidden love that you wish it was real, that they could live happily ever after. And they do, just not in the way you imagine. Despite their differences they find each other and their love wins, even if it means heartache for everyone else.

I really wasn't sure about this one but, after reading your review, I might have to check it out! I love when you can really feel the characters' emotions pouring off the pages.
